Détecteur de métaux pour l'industrie du recyclage du plastique

A factory specializing in plastic recycling approached us with a request to install a metal detector on their bottle cleaning line. The product to be detected is PET flakes in bulk form, and the metal detector needed to be installed on an overhead floor rather than on the ground. To facilitate understanding, their engineers provided a detailed model diagram and specified clear requirements, including the need for a flap rejection mechanism to remove flakes containing metal impurities.

One of the main challenge in this project was the client’s requirement for a conveyor belt length of 4.5 m. Typically, our metal detectors come with standard belt lengths of 1.5 m, 1.6 m, 1.8 m, and 2 m, which generally meet the needs of most clients. How ever, this case was particularly unique due to the constraints of the overhead installation, leaving no room for adjustment in length.

Our technical team undertook a redesign of the machine’s structure.

Finally, the machine was delivered to our customer and works fine on site.
